This is a fast-past action suspense filled with intrigue that will keep you turning pages. The characters are strong and determined with a well-written story that contains a HEA and no cliffhanger. I received an Advanced Readers Copy in exchange for my honest opinion.Stephanie Brooks is a former marine corporal and a first year law associate with a highly prestigious firm. Called into her boss’ office one morning, she is shocked to find herself assigned as a babysitter to the heir of Kaur Industries; who is currently working on a large defense contract to build weapons to use against dragons. Due to her client’s flashy, wayward ways that often land him in gossip stories for the news outlets and shining a spotlight on his father’s company, Steph is hired to stick to his side and try to curb his ways. Not thrilled with her assignment but told she will be required to resign should she fail in her duty, she steps into the role with determination. Upon meeting her client she sizes him up immediately only to find out quickly, things are not as they seemed. She is thrust into a fight for survival between her firm, unknown government men, the police and worst of all dragons.
Ryan Kaur life as always been easy, whatever he wants is his. Whether it is women, fancy parties, fast cars, you name it; as long as it provides an adrenaline rush he’s game. Though one night at a high stakes poker game, things take a turn for the worse and he gets arrested and his name linked as having associations with the mob. This being the final straw and embarrassment for his father and the company, his father informs him of his new advisor (babysitter) and her role in his life. Trying to change his father’s mind, without success, Ryan storms out in anger. Stephanie quickly follows and unable to stop him from leaving jumps into the car right as he takes off at great speed. Getting into a high speed accident was not his intention but suddenly shifting into a dragon was the biggest shock of all. After rushing Steph to the hospital to be tended for her injuries, he goes home; the only place he knows to get any answers. When his true lineage and circumstances of his birth are revealed, more questions arise. In trying to gain information and learn how to be a dragon, he accidently puts Steph in the path of the dragon queen when she reads his thoughts and learns they have mated. Knowing he has inadvertently signed her death warrant he risks everything to save her.
Along the way as they try to find answers while avoiding everyone wanting to either capture or kill them, Ryan and Steph uncover a huge conspiracy that revolves around her law firm and the dragon queen. Will they be able to outsmart everyone involved and stay alive?

Kissed by The Dragon by K.T Stryker is Book 2 of The Dragon Lords series and a Paranormal Romance
Steph is a junior attorney and former marine assigned to play babysitter to spoiled pretty boy Ryan Kaur so that his family doesn't miss out on large defense contracts to build weapons for use against the dragons. Kaur Industries heir Ryan is an adrenaline junkie whose antics have landed him in the papers and celebrity magazines, and after getting arrested at a poker game in a mob bar, his father Ivan informs him that Steph is going to be his advisor for the foreseeable future. Ryan refuses, even if Steph is stunningly gorgeous, and storms off in a huff. When Steph follows Ryan into his car, he speeds to frighten her, and they end up crashing when a deer walks out onto the road. Ryan shifts into a dragon on impact and thinks that he's either hallucinating or having a weird dream. Noticing that Steph is unconscious and hurt, he flies her to a hospital and drops her off on the roof. Not wanting to leave Steph to fend on her own, Ryan goes back to the hospital in human form and they go on the run from government agencies and the evil dragon queen. When the dragon queen finds out that Ryan marked Steph as his, the dragon queen wants her dead. Ryan and Steph uncover a huge conspiracy perpetrated by the dragon queen and the law firm she works for. Will Ryan and Steph be able to outsmart their enemies?
Kissed by The Dragon has non-stop action, excitement, suspense, intrigue, steamy scenes as well as twists and turns. K.T Stryker has paired a believable paranormal world with intense characters for a riveting read I could not put down. I highly recommend this book.

The story is a stand-alone with a HEA, but the over-arching saga continues with some unanswered questions and unresolved issues.
